Anna Schmitz is a video artist that hails from Florence, Mississippi. She graduated from Delta State University with a BFA in Digital Media Arts with a concentration in Video Production.

In the past, she has interned at Godwin Advertising in Jackson, Mississippi, working in video production, filming, and editing material, and web design. She has also freelanced at Broken Arm Studio in Cleveland, being a production assistant, cameraman, and editor working for various clients such as The Recording Academy. Currently, she is a Public Relations Specialist for the Mississippi Department of Mental Health and performs freelance work doing personal projects and short videos for clients.

Her work has been in group exhibitions such as the Delta State Student Exhibition where she has won numerous awards. Anna’s work has also been featured in DOCMA, the Boomtown Film and Music Festival, Mississippi Public Broadcasting, and in international shows around the world.
